Purpose
As the Associate Director, Organizational Excellence, you will partner with leaders and teams to prepare the organization for the future and increase performance of AbbVie’s quickly evolving business. Primary focus: consult on, design and deliver solutions in organization design, strategy, team effectiveness, culture, and process optimization.

Responsibilities
- Consult with leaders globally to identify business needs and future opportunities.
- Assess root causes, deliver insights, and help define organizational strategy aligned on execution.
- Deliver holistic organizational solutions (organizational design, team effectiveness, culture, process changes) to accelerate performance.
- Facilitate live and virtual workshops for senior in-line and matrix teams.
- Use deep knowledge of AbbVie’s culture to support successful recommendation design and implementation.
- Advise, influence, and coach senior leaders and HR partners on organizational effectiveness topics (change readiness/leading, culture, process, organization design, team leadership).
- Build a data-driven culture within OE by identifying and analyzing organizational data.
- Develop new tools and methodologies to improve outcomes for stakeholders and clients.
- Expand organizational capability across BHRs and the rest of the organization.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree a plus.
- 10+ years in internal/external consulting; global influencing/collaboration; instructional design; facilitation; process design/optimization; organizational effectiveness.
- Leadership experience across multiple business areas.
- Proven record driving performance during change.
- Demonstrated ability to develop others and create high-performing teams.
