Role: Associate Director, Oncology Field Reimbursement, leading a regional team of Field Reimbursement Managers (FRMs) to ensure compliant access, reimbursement, and affordability support for AbbVie's oncology portfolio. Responsibilities: build, hire, onboard, coach, and develop a high-performing team; translate portfolio strategies into effective field execution; partner cross-functionally with Patient Services, Market Access, Sales, Training, Analytics, Legal, and Regulatory teams; monitor team activity, performance, and compliance; engage with key oncology accounts to address access barriers; capture field insights to inform strategy and launch readiness. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; 5+ years in field reimbursement, market access, or oncology-specific support roles; 3+ years of team leadership/management experience preferred; strong understanding of oncology reimbursement models, payer policies, and specialty pharmacy/distribution; experience with launches and indication expansion strongly preferred. Skills: leadership, coaching, strategic planning, data analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and compliance orientation; capable of managing extensive travel within designated regions. High-value specifics: focus on oncology and hematology, supporting physician-administered therapies, buy-and-bill models, and complex reimbursement landscapes; role involves scaling teams for current and future oncology launches. Work setup: field-based, with candidates residing near Chicago, IL, or Dallas, TX; extensive travel required.
