Role Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and lead IT/OT infrastructure architecture across networking, compute, and security (hyper-converged systems, advanced networking, wireless).
- Ensure reliable operation of IT/OT infrastructure (servers, hardware, communications, desktop support) and provide oversight for data center operations, network services, telecom, and asset management.
- Build scalable, secure wireless networks; maintain security including data integrity and disaster recovery planning.
- Apply security frameworks (NIST CSF, IEC 62443, ISO 27001) in a regulated environment and maintain compliance with DeltaV/Emerson and Rockwell/Allen-Bradley automation standards.
- Ensure compliance with GxP, FDA, and global regulatory requirements; support monitoring, reporting, and audit readiness.
- Manage service providers aligned to SLAs; serve as escalation point for major incidents; provide management reporting.
- Collaborate with corporate IT and OT partners for enterprise integration.
- Lead, mentor, and develop IT operations team (Helpdesk, Desktop, Server, Network), including recruitment, training, evaluations, and goal setting.
Required/Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- BS/BA in IT or related field.
- Senior Manager: 8+ years experience with 8+ years management and 3+ years in FDA/similarly regulated environment.
- Associate Director: 10+ years experience with 10+ years management and 3+ years in FDA/similarly regulated environment.
- Hands-on experience designing/documenting infrastructure architecture across networking, compute, and security.
- Experience with security frameworks in regulated environments.
- Experience managing teams (Helpdesk/Desktop/Server/Network) and vendors/managed service providers.
- Experience developing SLAs, metrics, and ITIL practices.
- Strong Microsoft OS (Server, GPO) and data integrity knowledge.
- Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery planning.
- Preferred: PIC/S, 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11, GAMP.
