Position Overview:
As the Associate Director of Affordability (COE) within Patient Support Services (PSS), you will be responsible for copay program(s) for existing and upcoming launch assets. Ensure affordability offerings are effectively implemented and evolve with market dynamics to support patient access to therapies. Oversee affordability education for patients and call center agents, manage copay vendor relationships, and partner with internal/external stakeholders to optimize affordability initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:
- Build and operationalize best-in-class financial assistance program(s) for patients.
- Streamline processes, leverage technology, and champion continuous improvement.
- Provide direction and guidance to copay vendor(s) on day-to-day program operations.
- Manage patient case escalations.
- Identify and provide analysis and performance review of programs.
- Plan, develop, and coordinate Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
- Present program performance to internal teams (PSS and Brands).
- Serve as subject matter expert for patient services affordability programs.
- Collaborate across PSS and cross-functional partners to maintain alignment of patient services objectives.
- Understand impact of industry policy changes or service offerings on financial support programs.
- Act as a leader on the Patient Services leadership team as the patient experience model is built.
- Be a leader for change.

Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Business Administration, Healthcare, Healthcare Management, Public Health, Life Sciences, or related field (required).
- 7+ years experience in affordability program management, patient support services, case management, or related field in pharma/healthcare.
- Experience in patient support services, healthcare management, call centers, or related pharma area.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in patient program consolidations and/or conversions.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, policy implications, and best practices in patient affordability/access.
- Advanced degree (MBA, MFin).
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills; build and maintain vendor/internal stakeholder relationships.
- Cross-functional collaboration and leadership experience.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills in fast-paced environments.
