Associate Director, Medical Writing & Scientific Communications

Role: Associate Director, Medical Writing & Scientific Communications within Medical Affairs, focusing on developing strategic scientific communication initiatives to support clinical development, medical priorities, and launch readiness for obesity and metabolic disease therapies. Responsibilities: lead creation of peer-reviewed publications, abstracts, presentations, and advisory materials; collaborate cross-functionally to establish scientific narratives and evidence communication strategies; support publication planning and medical affairs activities such as investigator meetings and congress planning; manage external vendors; establish scalable medical writing processes; maintain scientific expertise through ongoing review of clinical data and literature. Requirements: advanced scientific degree (Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., D.O.), minimum 5 years in medical writing, scientific communications, or medical affairs in biotech/pharma; proven experience in peer-reviewed publications and scientific congress materials; expertise in obesity, cardiometabolic, or related therapeutic areas preferred.
