Role: Associate Director, Scientific Communications within Medical Affairs, providing medical, scientific, and technical expertise for communication deliverables related to marketed and pipeline biopharma products. Primary objectives include developing and managing scientific communication plans, ensuring accuracy and strategic alignment of materials, and supporting product-specific strategies. Responsibilities encompass leading product-specific communication projects, reviewing medical content, collaborating with cross-functional teams (including R&D, Compliance, Marketing), managing vendor relationships, and maintaining regulatory and scientific standards. The role requires creating materials such as scientific platforms, HCP-targeted slide decks, and booth content, with a focus on therapeutic areas related to neuroscience, psychiatric, and neurological disorders. The position demands in-depth knowledge of disease, epidemiology, and product landscape, with at least 5 years of experience in Medical Affairs or Clinical Development, preferably with advanced scientific degrees (MD, PhD, PharmD). Experience with Veeva Vault and review of regulatory-compliant materials is preferred. The position is based in Waltham, MA, requiring a hybrid work model (onsite 3 days/week) and about 10% domestic/international travel.
