Associate Director, Medical Science Liaison - Los Angeles/Southern California

Role: Associate Director, Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Insmed's Field Medical team, focusing on rare, pulmonary/respiratory, and infectious diseases. Objectives include building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals, providing scientific support, and facilitating clinical trial activities. Responsibilities encompass scientific exchanges, presenting data, supporting advisory boards, gathering HCP insights, and internal training, all aligned with Medical Affairs plans. Requirements: Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, NP/PA) with at least 5 years of relevant field medical experience, including expertise in rare/orphan diseases, pulmonary, or infectious diseases; strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills; knowledge of US healthcare policy, regulations (PhRMA, HIPAA), and ethics. Preferred skills include experience in medical information, clinical trial support, health outcomes, and pharmaco-economics. High-value biopharma specifics involve work in pulmonary/respiratory and infectious indications, supporting clinical development, and engaging with academic institutions and centers of excellence. The role is fully remote within the designated region, with frequent domestic and international travel (up to 80%). Compensation range: $187K–$244K annually.
