Associate Director, Medical Affairs - Content Studio Technology Lead

Role: Global Content Studio Technology Product Lead, responsible for overseeing content authoring platforms and production operations that support Medical Affairs content delivery at Gilead. Objectives include building a scalable content production engine, integrating AI tools to enhance efficiency, and ensuring high-quality, compliant multi-format digital content. Responsibilities encompass managing content production as a service for global Medical Affairs, leading a team of digital content producers, partnering with design agencies, and designing offshore capabilities. The role involves evaluating and implementing AI-driven content tools, owning production platforms, and streamlining workflows from global to local markets. Qualifications include a master’s or bachelor’s degree with 8-10+ years’ experience in medical/digital content production, familiarity with HTML authoring, digital asset management, and regulated pharma content standards. Preferred skills involve team leadership, experience with AI content tools, managing global content workflows, and partner/vendor management—particularly in regulated environments such as pharma or life sciences. The position is onsite in Foster City or Parsippany, with a requirement of at least 3 days in-office per week. This senior role reports to the Sr. Director of Content Strategy and involves cross-functional collaboration with Medical Affairs, MCS, and IDA teams, emphasizing digital content creation, AI integration, and platform optimization to support global Medical Affairs initiatives.
