Role: Associate Director, Oncology Medical Strategy within US Medical Affairs at Gilead, focusing on supporting the development and execution of strategic and tactical plans for oncology therapies. Responsibilities include collaborating on medical tactics such as content creation, MRC reviews, advisory boards, stakeholder engagement, congress activities, and data generation; serving as a Medical Strategy liaison for the Medical Science Liaison team; developing oncology pipeline materials; providing clinical/scientific input for education, grants, and medical information; leading publication strategies; and coordinating congress activities. Requirements: Bachelor's degree with 10+ years, Master's with 8+ years, or PhD/MD/PharmD with 2+ years, preferably with oncology clinical, research, or pharmaceutical experience. Preferred skills include knowledge of regulatory requirements, strong scientific communication, project management, and experience in US/global Oncology Medical Affairs. High-Value: Oncology, cancer indications, therapeutic area expertise, regulatory compliance, publication strategy, congress representation, and cross-functional collaboration across Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and Commercial teams. Work setup involves travel, including international, with a focus on strategic medical support for oncology therapies.
