Responsibilities:
- Translate global demand signals, inventory policies, and supply network strategies into feasible, detailed site-level production schedules.
- Lead integration between Global Network Planning and Site Planning teams to ensure alignment on feasibility, constraints, and assumptions.
- Reconcile the Global Supply Plan (GSP) with Site Rough-Cut Capacity Plans (RCCP) prior to execution.
- Own and govern the 24-month master production schedule (MPS) for DS, DP, and FG across internal and external manufacturing nodes.
- Build batch sequences, production cycles, campaign structures, and capacity allocations.
- Maintain MPS stability within the 4-month frozen window while enabling agility outside it; lead scenario modeling and recommend adjustments for supply risks, capacity shifts, regulatory changes, and demand variability.
- Govern planning for the 6β24-month horizon: long-range capacity modeling, structured scenario analyses (launch acceleration, demand shifts, disruptions, regulatory changes, market expansions), early alignment with site planners, and partnerships with Procurement/Materials.
- Validate feasibility for lifecycle initiatives (tech transfers, new SKUs, artwork/label updates, new market entries) and lead long-range planning forums.
- Maintain governance for plan changes within the 4-month frozen window; ensure major decisions are resolved before entering the frozen horizon.
- Coordinate internal and external manufacturing execution (including GEM): manage slot/campaign timing, calendars, testing sequences, release timelines, and adherence/escalations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field with 10+ years relevant experience; OR Masterβs with 8+ years; OR PhD with 5+ years.
- Supply chain planning experience (network and site planning required); deep understanding of GMP operations, batch-based production, and global distribution.
- Proficiency with ERP and advanced planning systems (SAP, IBP, OMP, Kinaxis).
- Strong influencing skills across global, matrixed organizations.
Preferred:
- APICS CPIM/CSCP or MBA; experience with commercial biologics/sterile injectables; experience with S&OP/S&OE and supply governance frameworks.
