Role: Associate Director, Market Access Analytics, Neurology
Responsibilities:
- Transform complex data assets/analytical tools into evidence-based market access decisions across Payer & Provider/GPO, Contracting, and Pricing.
- Lead payer and channel strategy using market, payer, and account-level data to guide positioning, coverage, and channel optimization.
- Drive payer segmentation and policy analytics across Commercial, Medicare Part B/D, Medicare Advantage, Managed Medicaid, FFS Medicaid, VA/DoD, and Exchange.
- Partner with Market Access Strategy, Payer Account, GPO Account Directors, Brand, HEOR, Pricing, Trade, and Field Reimbursement teams; structure analyses and deliver recommendations to senior leadership.
- Identify emerging analytics opportunities; develop measurement frameworks for pre/post impact.
- Deliver provider and GPO analytics (account/segment opportunity assessments and pull-through tied to payer coverage/brand developments).
- Lead performance reporting; triangulate datasets for actionable portfolio strategies.
- Manage analytics vendor workstreams and apply Market Access semantic layer across payer medical policy, patient claims, and reimbursement data.
Qualifications / Required Skills:
- 10+ years pharma/biotech commercial experience (or 7+ years with MBA/MS); STEM BS/BA (advanced degree preferred).
- Proficiency with market access data sources (MMIT, IQVIA LAAD/DDD/Xponent, Remittance, Model N, Integrichain 852/867, Patient HUB) and payer spine bridge/account hierarchy.
- Coding: Python, R and/or SQL.
- Data visualization/BI tools (e.g., Dataiku, Databricks, PowerBI, Tableau, QlikView, Oracle BI, Microstrategy, Cognos, Spotfire or similar); data storytelling.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
- Data mining, descriptive analytics, statistical methods/modeling, predictive modeling, opportunity assessment/quantification.
- Strong written/verbal communication and ability to influence; manage multiple vendors/projects on deadlines.
