Role: Senior technical leader (Associate Director level) responsible for developing and maintaining system integrations between manufacturing execution systems (MES), OT data historians (e.g., AVEVA PI), and process control systems (e.g., DeltaV) in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Objectives include ensuring reliable data flow across global sites to support downstream manufacturing capabilities such as scheduling, productivity, and operational reporting. Responsibilities encompass designing, configuring, and scaling integrations, establishing standards, troubleshooting incidents, and driving data quality initiatives. The role involves close collaboration with site operations, automation, IT, OT teams, and vendors, with a focus on industry 4.0 technologies like OPC UA and edge computing. Qualifications include 12+ years in manufacturing technology or industrial systems, with 5+ years in system integration, automation, or manufacturing IT/OT, and experience with MES, data historians, relational databases (SQL), and modern integration protocols. Preferred experience involves pharmaceutical manufacturing, industry 4.0 tools, and global deployment models. The position reports to the Operations Orchestration Product Manager, supports governance and change management, and mentors engineering teams. Work setup is hybrid with approximately 10% travel, and the role emphasizes leadership in complex, regulated manufacturing environments to optimize data-driven manufacturing operations.
