Associate Director, Manufacturing Division Communications ( Southern Cluster)

Role: Associate Director, Global Manufacturing Communications, supporting manufacturing sites in Durham, Wilson, and Elkton. Primary objectives include developing and executing integrated internal and external communication strategies that connect manufacturing operations, supply chain, and company reputation, with a focus on site performance, operational milestones, and organizational change. Responsibilities encompass managing site-level messaging, crisis communication, change initiatives, and workforce engagement, while collaborating with site leaders, corporate communications, and media teams. Qualifications: Bachelor's in communications, journalism, life sciences, or related field with 6+ years of experience (or 10+ years of equivalent experience), including healthcare or pharma industry exposure. Strong expertise in change management, crisis communications, stakeholder engagement, and project management is essential. High-value specifics include supporting biopharmaceutical manufacturing, supply chain, and operational milestones across a global enterprise, with a hybrid work setup and up to 25% travel. Prior experience working with senior executives, managing high-volume communications, and proficiency in digital/social channels preferred.
