Role Summary

The Maintenance Associate Director provides leadership and direction to the maintenance and reliability groups within the site engineering organization. The role ensures maintenance and reliability deliverables are resourced and qualified to support production goals and business agenda, and is responsible for developing and maintaining reliability and maintenance technical programs. During startup (2025β€šΓ„Γ¬2027), leadership will be collaborative, inclusive, and support the broader team to build the organization, site, and culture for GMP operations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coach maintenance supervisors, reliability engineers, and other staff, including performance reviews and development planning.
  • Provide maintenance work coordination in support of all manufacturing areas and site objectives; provide input to key functional groups and partners.
  • Oversee maintenance and reliability staffing including recruitment, resource planning, and succession planning.
  • Ensure maintenance planning, scheduling, and work completion meet production and site business needs.
  • Set and reinforce standards for maintenance and reliability in coordination with engineering.
  • Identify, track, and report key indicators of functional performance.
  • Oversee maintenance and reliability issues and improvement initiatives; review and approve relevant deviations and change controls.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate maintenance and reliability performance expectations; collaborate within the global engineering network to align with corporate initiatives and best practices.
  • Support site governance through participation and leadership in cross-functional meetings and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelorβ€šΓ„Γ΄s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical preferred)
  • 3+ years experience in a leadership role supporting manufacturing, preferably in API manufacturing
