Associate Director, Legal, Corporate Counsel, Product and Commercial

Role: Associate Director, Corporate Counsel focusing on product and commercial legal matters within the biopharma sector, primarily supporting marketing, sales, market access, and compliance functions. Responsibilities: provide legal counsel on advertising, promotion, external communications, and industry regulatory guidance; review and negotiate commercial contracts; advise on healthcare laws, anti-fraud, anti-kickback, and false claims statutes; collaborate with Global Compliance & Ethics on policies, training, risk assessments, and investigations; prepare updates for executive leadership on industry enforcement trends and regulatory developments. Requirements: JD degree, active bar license, 3-7 years’ experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare legal or compliance roles, preferably in-house or at a regulatory agency; familiarity with pipeline support, marketed products, and industry guidance; experience with AdPromo frameworks, MLR review, and commercial agreement negotiations. High-Value: legal support for marketed biopharma products, with focus on regulatory compliance, healthcare law, and commercial contracts; experience in biotech/pharmaceutical industry, including anti-kickback and False Claims Act issues; strong collaboration with compliance, medical, and commercial teams.
