Associate Director, Legal-Compliance
Responsibilities:
- Support execution/enhancements of Travere’s healthcare Compliance Program across Commercial, Medical Affairs, Patient Advocacy, and other external-facing teams.
- Plan and manage monitoring and auditing: co-lead annual/periodic Seven Elements assessments; develop monitoring/auditing playbooks, templates, trackers, and reporting cadence; lead day-to-day monitoring/auditing operations.
- Live monitoring of external-facing activities (e.g., HCP interactions, speaker/educational programs, advisory boards, field and patient-facing activities) with vendor oversight.
- Use data analytics dashboards to identify trends, outliers, policy deviations, repeat issues, and emerging risks; oversee data analytics vendor exchanges/refreshes and mapping accuracy.
- Conduct data-driven audits across relevant systems (CRM, expense data, transparency/transfer-of-value, repositories) and prepare reports for the Compliance Committee/senior leaders.
- Drive corrective action follow-up and translate insights into updates to policies, SOPs, field guides, training, communications, controls, and business processes.
- Draft/enhance policies, training, and resources; improve Compliance Operations processes/systems and develop AI tools (validated and in line with company policy).
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; JD/MBA/MPH or related preferred.
- Compliance/auditing certification preferred.
- 8+ years compliance/internal audit/monitoring (5+ years life sciences healthcare compliance supporting a pharma/biotech manufacturer).
Skills/Preferred:
- Strong Seven Elements program knowledge; risk assessments, sampling/testing, remediation, and management reporting.
- Data analytics (dashboards/metrics/trend analysis) and advanced Excel preferred; Tableau/Power BI a plus.
- Responsible AI use; strong written/verbal communication; project management; cross-functional collaboration; travel ~30%.
