Position Summary:
Hospital Key Account Manager (KAM) – Neuroscience (field-based; >80% in the field; reports to a KAM Director). Develop and execute an integrated stakeholder engagement strategy within targeted key accounts to optimize access, educate on COBENFY’s value proposition, and support overall adoption. Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Market Access, Sales, Medical, and Patient Services to drive launch execution and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create actionable strategic/tactical account plans to optimize customer engagement and outcomes in Neuropsychiatry.
- Lead account-specific strategies and partner with cross-functional teams to support adoption in hospital/health systems.
- Coordinate account planning across matrix partners to ensure effective support and meaningful outcomes.
- Support formulary management, the P&T process, and advocacy to improve formulary position and enable access to COBENFY.
- Monitor protocol/pathway decision-making changes; advocate for open access to COBENFY.
- Coordinate with HIT Specialists for EMR/EHR updates reflecting pathways, protocols, and order sets.
- Build economically accretive population-health solutions with hospital decision makers.
- Lead discussions on reimbursement models tied to outcomes; leverage economic data to demonstrate value.
- Serve as BMS Neuroscience contact; build relationships with C-suite, finance, pharmacy, operations; educate on reimbursement dynamics.
- Analyze market data and regional healthcare trends to set business priorities.
- Conduct internal account reviews; identify pain points/inefficiencies and opportunities.
- Support dissemination of system-level decisions within accounts.
Qualifications & Experience (Required/Preferred):
- BS/BA required; minimum 8 years pharmaceutical/healthcare experience.
- Required: hospital and IDN experience; direct health system provider and payer experience; U.S. healthcare system understanding (hospitals/acute care, IDNs, networks, payers).
- Required: experience with hospital payment models, P&T process, formulary access/reimbursement, pathways/protocol development, EMR/EHR, pharmacy planning/operations.
- Required: access/marketing and/or sales success; proven leadership without direct authority; collaboration; strong analytical/communication/presentation skills.
- Preferred: psychiatry/schizophrenia expertise; sales leadership/marketing home office; people management; regional/national account management.
- Valid driver’s license within 50 United States required.
