Associate Director β IT Systems Program Manager
Responsibilities
- Oversee and align multiple MQ Tech@Lilly programs to meet objectives, timelines, budgets, and impacts.
- Understand program goals and how they connect across the portfolio; identify interdependencies and ensure seamless integration.
- Proactively manage potential risks, cross-connections, and resource exchanges to drive cohesive execution.
- Ensure programs align with the overall Strategy for New API facilities and deliver desired outcomes efficiently and within budget.
- Participate in business and strategic financial plan conversations for programs/projects for new API facilities.
- Lead and manage large-scale programs aligned to organizational goals.
- Oversee the release train process and coordinate with teams for timely delivery of products and services.
- Determine whether to apply Agile and/or Waterfall approaches to manage timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Ensure projects adhere to GxP standards for quality and regulatory compliance.
- Manage stakeholders with clear communication and regular program status updates.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Allocate resources across projects to optimize productivity/performance.
- Generate and present reports on program progress, performance metrics, and outcomes.
- Develop in-depth understanding of business processes at LP1; support assigned solutions and resolve issues with Process Engineers, Operations, Quality, and TS/MS.
- Drive site adoption of assigned solutions aligned with Site and IT strategy.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in IT, project management, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in program/portfolio management with a proven track record overseeing multiple projects.
- Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional projects using project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, etc.).
- Experience in Pharma and GMP Manufacturing.
Additional Preferences
- Experience managing pharmaceutical programs/projects; previous experience in startup of a new facility or clinical development manufacturing site.
- Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Active participation in industry forums and standards organizations.
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills; ability to assess risks, manage trade-offs, and make sound decisions; excellent communication and leadership skills.
Other Information
- Monday through Friday, based on-site; flexible with support for production schedules/shutdowns; occasional extended/off-hour work.
- Based in Texas; 5β10% business travel.
