Associate Director โ€“ IT Systems Program Manager

What Youโ€™ll Be Doing
- Lead and manage large-scale programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Oversee and coordinate the release train process to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
- Determine when to apply Agile and/or Waterfall techniques to manage timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Ensure all projects adhere to GxP standards for quality and regulatory compliance.
- Engage stakeholders at all levels with clear communication and regular program status updates.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program success.
- Allocate resources across projects to optimize productivity and performance.
- Generate and present comprehensive reports on program progress, performance metrics, and outcomes.
- Maintain strong business understanding and learning agility (e.g., manufacturing processes, lab processes, engineering standards).
- Develop in-depth understanding of business processes at LP1; apply knowledge to assigned solutions and resolve issues with Process Engineers, Operations, Quality, and TS/MS.
- Drive site adoption of assigned solutions, aligned with Site and IT strategy.

Basic Requirements
- Bachelorโ€™s degree in IT, project management, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in program or portfolio management overseeing multiple projects.
- Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional programs and project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, etc.).
- Experience in Pharma and GMP Manufacturing.

Additional Preferences
- Experience managing pharmaceutical programs/projects; startup experience for a new facility or clinical development manufacturing site.
- Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Active participation in industry forums and standards organizations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to assess risks, manage trade-offs, and make sound decisions.

Other (Role Logistics)
- Monday through Friday; based on-site in Texas; flexible with production schedule/shutdown support; occasional extended/off-hour work.
- 5โ€“10% business travel.
