Associate Director – IT Systems Delivery Lead

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and manage large-scale program delivery for green-field manufacturing IT implementations, aligning to organizational goals.
- Supervise and align multiple programs across the portfolio to meet objectives, timelines, budgets, and impacts.
- Identify interdependencies and ensure seamless integration across initiatives.
- Oversee release train engineering to coordinate teams for timely delivery of products/services.
- Select Agile and/or Waterfall approaches to manage timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Ensure projects adhere to GxP standards (quality and regulatory compliance).
- Manage stakeholders with clear, regular status communication.
- Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, allocate resources, and report progress/performance/outcomes.
- Build understanding of site business processes; support/resolve issues with Process Engineers, Operations, Quality, and TS/MS.
- Drive site adoption of assigned solutions aligned with Site/IT strategy.

Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Project Management, or related field
- 10+ years program/portfolio management overseeing multiple projects
- Strong understanding of Agile/Waterfall/Scrum and software development methodologies
- Experience in Pharma and GMP Manufacturing

Additional Preferences
- Experience managing pharma programs; startup of new facility/clinical development manufacturing site
- Large-scale, cross-functional program experience
- Strong analytical/problem-solving; risk/trade-off decision making; excellent leadership/communication

Other Information
- Monday–Friday, on-site; flexibility for production schedules/shutdowns; occasional extended/off-hour work; 5–10% travel; based at new API facilities (Houston, TX; Richmond, VA; Huntsville, AL); initial 6–12 months travel to Indianapolis headquarters.

Compensation/Benefits
- Anticipated base pay: $124,500–$182,600; eligible for company bonus and comprehensive benefits (e.g., 401(k), medical/dental/vision, flexible benefits, life insurance, time off, well-being).
