Associate Director, International Tax
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive understanding of U.S. international tax law (GILTI, BEAT, FDII, Subpart F, foreign tax credit) for income tax provisions and tax return filings.
- Lead complex technical initiatives; interface with senior management, external advisors, and team members with strong communication.
- Develop and oversee advanced models to evaluate tax implications of restructurings/transactions and global legislative/regulatory changes.
- Research complex tax issues and advise senior management on interpretation and application of tax laws/regulations.
- Collaborate with internal/external business partners worldwide on international tax matters.
- Partner with Tax Digital Transformation on process improvement; participate in training/pilots for tax automation and AI-enabled workflows.
- Integrate business and related tax considerations into tax planning, forecasting, and advising.
- Support tax controversy defense (research and draft responses to IRS requests).
- Coordinate worldwide remittances; develop strategy for planning/managing/overseeing dividend payments; provide guidance on previously taxed earnings and profits.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree.
- CPA certification or equivalent, or CPA eligible.
- 6+ years tax experience, including 4+ years U.S. international tax experience.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. full-time; no visa sponsorship.
Additional Preferences:
- OneSource or other tax compliance systems; Power BI.
- Strong U.S. international tax knowledge; tax planning/research; tax accounting knowledge (FIN 48, deferred taxes).
- Multitask/prioritize; communication/presentation; collaboration; organization/self-management.
- Juris Doctorate or Masters of Tax; global transfer pricing knowledge; leadership.

- Travel 5% as needed; overtime at peak times; Indianapolis-based role.
