Description
- The Associate Director International Learning (Oncology) assesses and develops learning strategies and plans to ensure Oncology strategy is represented across learning programs. Creates consistency and leverages best practices across Oncology brands internationally. Collaborates with International Marketing, Areas, and Affiliates to deliver learning programs and capability solutions for new product launches, mature products, promotional/regulatory updates, and new hire training; develops team members and fosters an inclusive culture.

Primary Responsibilities
- Design oncology learning curricula aligned to brand strategy; align cross-functionally (Training, Medical/Clinical, Marketing, Sales, Medical, Regulatory, Legal, other AbbVie groups, and vendors) to ensure needs are met.
- Set mutual expectations with business customers/partners; work effectively in international, multi-cultural and highly matrix environments.
- Execute international brand strategy via tactical planning; integrate learning deliverables into business planning.
- Ensure adult learning and instructional design principles; ensure curriculum quality, compliance, and relevance.
- Lead and participate in International Learning workstreams; support formal/informal team development; foster inclusive team environment.

Qualifications/Skills
- Preferred: Oncology experience.
- Knowledge of applicable regulations/standards for pharmaceutical products.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in instructional design/education technology/education or related field; 5+ years learning & instructional design.
- 10–15 years combined learning, sales, marketing, or cross-functional expertise.
- Demonstrated leadership; experience managing multi-product learning curriculums; exceptional facilitation/presentation.
- Planning/organization, stakeholder communication (written/verbal), learning agility, and ability to prioritize multiple initiatives.
