Role Summary
Associate Director of Commercial Insights & Analytics at Bicara Therapeutics to support the development and execution of an integrated insights strategy that supports the commercialization of the lead oncology asset, Ficerafusp alfa. This role designs and executes market research and data analytics to guide key strategic decisions for Ficerafusp alfa. The ideal candidate combines strong quantitative skills with strategic business acumen and the ability to translate data into actionable insights for cross-functional and executive stakeholders. This role is based in Boston with a hybrid schedule of three in-office days per week.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute a holistic insights and analytics strategy aligned with key business objectives across clinical, commercial, and corporate functions.
- Oversee qualitative and quantitative market research initiatives to understand customer needs, market dynamics, and the evolving competitive landscape.
- Analyze and interpret data from sources like claims and EMR data to inform brand strategy. Design and implement frameworks to support omnichannel initiatives and track performance (e.g., unbranded websites, paid media, peer-to-peer platforms).
- Act as a strategic thought partner to Commercial, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Market Access, and Corporate Strategy teams to embed insights into strategic decision-making.
- Deliver clear, concise, and compelling data narratives to leadership and board-level stakeholders, highlighting actionable implications and key assumptions.
- Oversee external vendors and continuously evaluate tools, methodologies, and platforms to ensure best-in-class analytics infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Business, Life Sciences, Economics, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- 6+ years of experience in strategic insights, commercial analytics, or forecasting within the biopharma industry or strategy consulting firms supporting biopharma clients; oncology experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience integrating quantitative analytics (e.g., modeling, segmentation) with qualitative insights (e.g., market research, message testing)
- Experience supporting digital and omnichannel initiatives, including campaign measurement, engagement analytics, and digital KPI frameworks
- Proficiency with relevant data sources (e.g., claims, EMR, specialty pharmacy, digital/web analytics) and tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Adobe Analytics)
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complexity and influence strategic direction
- Highly adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with evolving priorities
