Associate Director, HR Technology & Analytics

Principal Responsibilities
- Partner with HR leadership to shape/evolve HR technology strategy and align with growth and HR priorities.
- Build and maintain the HR technology roadmap; evaluate emerging tools/capabilities.
- Lead research, requirements gathering, and business cases for HR technology investments.
- Lead implementation, configuration, and ongoing administration of HR systems; manage end-to-end projects (implementations, integrations, upgrades, enhancements) through go-live and stabilization.
- Oversee releases, testing, issue resolution, and feature adoption; ensure support for recruiting, onboarding, compensation, benefits, performance, learning, and offboarding.
- Partner with IT on integrations, data architecture, access governance, security, and compliance.
- Serve as primary point of contact for HR technology vendors; manage contracts/SLAs/renewals and performance.
- Own recurring HR reporting and workforce analytics (dashboards, workforce reviews, ad hoc requests); define/standardize HR metrics and KPIs.
- Translate complex data into practical insights; lead change management and promote data literacy.

Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
- 6–8+ years HR technology/HRIS experience; growth in scope.
- Workday certification(s) or equivalent preferred.

Required/Preferred Skills
- Hands-on Workday HCM experience (HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Performance, People Analytics, Time, Payroll).
- Experience managing HR tech vendors/contracts and post-implementation optimization.
- Strong analytics foundation; BI/data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Workday Prism Analytics) preferred.
- Experience with HR data governance/data integrity and partnering with IT on enterprise integrations/security.
- PMP (or equivalent) preferred; Master’s degree or PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP/HRIP preferred.
- Biotech/pharma/life sciences environment preferred.

Travel: up to 15%.
