Role Summary
Associate Director, HEOR Strategy Solid Tumors
Responsibilities
Actively participates as an HEOR subject-matter expert in key cross-functional teams that are part of the Pipeline Commercialization Model and brand planning process to facilitate alignment and integration of Global HEOR strategies / plans into the broader Integrated Evidence Plans. Must be able to influence activities in a matrix organization.
Responsible for leading & conducting timely execution of robust & innovative research aligned to strategy.
Collaborates with HEOR centers of excellence (PCOR & RWE) to ensure delivery of robust research.
Leverages outcomes research expertise and knowledge of payer/HTA environment to inform COA measurement strategy for clinical trials and interfaces with external global regulatory [e.g. FDA, EMA etc.] to support labeling negotiations.
Partners with cross-functional stakeholders and country affiliates to support global HTA submissions.
Develops relationships with key external thought-leaders [e.g. clinical, payer, patient advocacy etc.] and partners on study protocol development, interpretation of findings, and publication of findings.
Responsible for appropriate allocation of project/asset specific budget & ensuring projects are delivered on time & within budget.
Assures compliance of HEOR studies with established research standards
Effectively partners with internal stakeholders (HEOR TA teams, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Global teams, etc.) at strategic and tactical levels to disseminate robust HEOR evidence in support of a broad set of stakeholders including payers, providers, patients, and policymakers.
Qualifications
Advanced degree in health economics or related discipline
Minimum of five years working experience with MasterβΓΓ΄s, three years with PhD (can include fellowship experience). Professional training in a health field (MD, PharmD, etc.) is a plus
Firmly grounded in the scientific fundaments of one or more of the core HEOR specialties (epidemiology, biostatistics, patient reported outcomes, health services research, economics)
Capable of performing health economics projects from inception through publication and application with minimal oversight.
Ability to present complex scientific programs and data clearly to cross-functional audiences.
