- Calculate, validate, and report accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual government pricing.
- Submit and monitor State Price Transparency regulations.
- Apply calculation methodologies and research/communicate causes of variances between current and prior periods.
- Ensure compliant submissions, including G/L reconciliations, Class of Trade (COT) review, and PHS/340B eligibility review.
- Review calculations with Senior Management and obtain approval signoff/SOP execution before communicating prices to CMS and VA/DOD (and internally).
- Maintain and update SOPs and reasonable assumptions quarterly.
- Monitor policies, procedures, and processes to ensure ongoing compliance with external and internal requirements.
- Understand/estimate impacts of pricing and policy changes.
- Perform pricing research and analysis on special projects.
- Review commercial contract language related to Best Price (BP), Average Sales Price (ASP), and FSS tracking customers.
- Investigate government pricing trends and cross-channel impact; provide government price inputs to the Gross to Net (GTN) team.
- Monitor for tracking customer violations, Bona Fide Service Fee treatments, and Customer COT assignment.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on cross-functional teams representing Government Pricing/Contract Operations.
- Act as a liaison with Commercial Leadership, Pricing, Trade, Brand, and Accounting/Finance.
- Use Fair Market Value methodology for bona fide service fees to wholesalers, PBMs, and GPOs.
This Role Requires
- Bachelorβs degree.
- 7+ years prior experience in Government Pricing OR a related field (finance, accounting, Medicare/Medicaid).
- Strong analytical skills.
- 10+ years of professional experience.
