The Associate Director of Global Program Management serves as a program manager, working with program and cross-functional teams to ensure execution of the aligned program strategy. Responsibilities include:
- Create project plans; identify and track critical path activities, goals, risks, contingencies, and alternative pathways.
- Drive alignment to priorities, objectives, deliverables, interdependencies, and timelines to execute the pipeline strategic plan.
- Proactively manage daily program management activities across programs, including budget, communication, and status reporting.
- Lead integrated program timelines (source of truth) and ensure inter-program dependency alignment, execution, tracking, and communication.
- Communicate program status, timelines, updates, and key decisions to stakeholders.
- Generate and maintain program dashboards for senior leadership.
- Foster strong relationships with team members and functional line managers; serve as key point person for communications and issue identification.
- Identify opportunities to improve effectiveness, processes, communication, and/or outcomes.
- Independently execute effective meetings; lead ad-hoc teams/projects with specific deliverables.
- Demonstrate risk-based decision making; advise/manage other program managers as needed.

Qualifications & preferred skills:
- BS or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years industry experience; at least 2 years in a manager role.
- Prior program management experience in a matrix organization (required).
- Proficient communication skills.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Strong planning/organizational skills; balance competing priorities.
- Expertise with MS Project and tools such as Workfront.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Prior technical/scientific experience expected.
- Collaborative; adaptive interpersonal/written/verbal communication; influence without authority.
- Strong oral presentation and clear stakeholder communication.
