Associate Director, Global Medical Affairs Lead

Role: Associate Director, Global Medical Affairs Lead (GMAL) for Sarepta's gene therapy programs in Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). Primary objectives include driving scientific strategy, supporting product launch and lifecycle management, and enhancing the impact of Sarepta's therapies. Responsibilities encompass developing medical materials, reviewing and approving scientific and promotional content, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and engaging with stakeholders such as physicians, payers, and scientific communities. The role also involves contributing to congress and advisory board content, maintaining current scientific knowledge, and supporting dissemination of medical information. Qualifications: Doctorate (MD, PhD, PharmD) with 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in gene therapy or neuromuscular disorders. Requires strong strategic, analytical, and communication skills, with demonstrated success in matrixed environments and relationship-building with thought leaders. High-value specifics include focus on gene therapy, rare neuromuscular diseases, and remote US-based work with quarterly travel. The position reports to the Global Medical Affairs Lead for DMD Gene Therapy and involves close collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to support Sarepta's leadership in genetic medicine.
