Position Overview
The Associate Director, Global Commercialization FP&A will lead and coordinate financial planning and reporting across the Global Commercialization Finance Organization. Partner with FP&A leads across regional markets and global functions to ensure timely, accurate reporting; coordinate financial planning cycles; analyze Commercialization trends; manage long-range planning; and partner with Supply Chain, R&D, and Corporate FP&A.
Work arrangement
- Flexibility to work away from the office for 20%β40% of schedule (single or consecutive days; not exceeding 40% within a 60-day period; approved by hiring manager).
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead Commercialization planning cycles (Budget, Forecasts, Long-Range Planning/LRP) across markets, global functions, and supply chain.
- Coordinate consolidation of Commercialization financial results and forecast cycles.
- Develop reporting packages/dashboards and perform variance analyses.
- Own the Commercialization FP&A planning calendar; drive accountability for deliverables, timelines, and data quality.
- Ensure standardized planning assumptions across markets/functions; align with Corporate FP&A.
- Develop standardized reporting/performance metrics; identify trends and proactively highlight risks/opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement of reporting/planning processes; lead master data governance and reporting standardization.
- Support strategic initiatives and ad hoc special projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in finance/accounting/economics or related; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 8+ years progressive FP&A experience (pharma/biotech preferred) with commercialization experience.
- Ability to lead consolidated financial reporting across multiple markets/functions.
- Track record managing forecast cycles; delivering executive presentations; driving process improvements.
- Strong communication, analytical/strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills; thrive in fast-paced global environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required; SAP and Adaptive Insights preferred.
