Associate Director, FP&A

Role: Associate Director, FP&A (Commercial Finance) supporting Cytokinetics' transition to a commercial-stage biotech. Primary objectives include providing strategic financial insights, managing commercial operating expenses and headcount, and supporting decision-making for launch and growth. Responsibilities encompass leading annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans; analyzing variances; advising on commercial investments and resource allocation; and developing scalable planning tools. Qualifications: Bachelor’s in finance, accounting, or related; 10+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience, with demonstrated expertise in supporting commercial functions within biotech or pharma; advanced financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills; strong executive communication abilities; proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and AI tools. Preferred: Experience with product launch or initial commercialization phases at biotech, and familiarity with specialty pharmacy channels, rebate programs, and copay assistance. High-value biopharma specifics include supporting a cardiovascular pipeline, focusing on a newly commercialized biotech, with hybrid work setup based in Radnor, PA. The role involves collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and executive leadership.
