Operations
Primary Objective:
Lead the volume and sales forecast analytical process for Etenta (AbbVie's Multiple Myeloma franchise), scaling forecasting across additional Etenta indications and MM pipeline products.
Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end actual close for Etenta, including Price, Volume/Demand, and Pipeline variance and close commentary; communicate key performance drivers.
- Prepare and review sales reporting and key-metric forecasting packages for the MM franchise.
- Present monthly actual results and future-period volume forecasts to the Commercial VP and Marketing Directors.
- Develop product sales projections for Plan, Update, LBE, LRP, and Portfolio submissions using sound analytical assumptions and clear rationale/methodology.
- Build and own scalable, auditable forecast models for new indications and MM assets.
- Provide ad-hoc analytics for launch/new-indication scenarios, channel/product-mix impacts, and other key business drivers.
- Leverage forecast modeling, financial modeling, market dynamics, primary research, competitive intelligence, and syndicated data.
- Partner with Commercial, Pricing, Finance, and MABI; define forecast risks and opportunities.
- Coordinate cadence with MABI, Market Access, and Marketing to align assumptions to the latest market view.
- Lead and develop the Etenta forecasting team; coach and support career development.
- Drive a positive, productive, inclusive culture.
Qualifications (Required):
- 8β10 years in analytics, forecasting, and/or financial planning/analysis.
- Bachelorβs degree in Analytics, Math/Statistics, Business, Economics, Accounting, or Finance.
- Strategic/creative forecasting skills that translate insights into business decisions.
- Ability to quantify financial impact of marketing/competitive events using market research.
- Ability to triangulate diverse data sets to inform forecasting.
- Proactive issue identification and data analysis/interpretation.
- Experience leading/motivating a team; supporting senior operating management.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; excellent communication/presentation.
Preferred:
- MBA/Masterβs in Accounting/Finance and/or CPA.
- Biopharma and/or commercial/marketing organization experience.
- US Commercial experience and financial planning process knowledge.
- Oncology/hematology (Multiple Myeloma) familiarity.
- Power BI, MS Access, SQL, Python, Workiva, web-based dashboards (plus).
