Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Commercial, Finance, and cross-functional partners to develop, document, and communicate accurate patient/volume/revenue forecasts for strategic planning & budget cycles, bi-annual medium-term updates, and monthly rolling forecast updates.
- Coordinate forecast deliverables and harmonize across assets/functions with Finance and forecasters in other therapeutic areas.
- Provide end-of-month closing deliverables (price/volume and demand/inventory analyses) with Analytics & Finance.
- Provide monthly updates to Commercial leadership on performance and near-term forecast outlook, integrating actuals, analytics, market research, and other inputs.
- Support forecast model enhancements for in-line and launch products (e.g., segmentation, patient flow).
- Partner with Market Research to design studies that generate key forecast inputs (e.g., demand studies/conjoint).
- Partner with Finance and Market Access to incorporate GTN and access assumptions, conduct payer mix analyses, and generate price/volume waterfalls.
- Pressure-test and refine assumptions using analogue analyses and external forecasts (e.g., syndicated/analyst reports).
- Align US forecast deliverables with Global guidance and integrate with Global aggregation.
- Work with Finance and Demand Planning to deliver the appropriate forecast by SKU for monthly supply chain planning.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses to assess initiative value and market event risks using forecast models.
- Review key model inputs with Data Management/Analytics and external data providers to ensure accuracy.
- Coach junior team members on onboarding, upskilling, and Sanofi processes/data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, MD, PhD) preferred.
- 3+ years in pharma/biotech analytics, forecasting, and/or market research (consulting and/or advanced degrees may substitute).
- Strong business acumen; excellent communication/presentation skills.
- Knowledge of pharma data sources (e.g., IQVIA patient-level data, syndicated reports, specialty pharmacy data) and payer/health insurance environment.
- Excellent project management; ability to balance multiple priorities in a matrixed environment.
