Associate Director, Finance Internal Audit

Role: Finance Audit Associate Director responsible for leading global internal audit activities within AbbVie's finance function, including planning, executing, and reporting on financial and operational audits. Objectives: assess internal controls, operational efficiency, and compliance; develop departmental process improvements; and support risk management strategies. Responsibilities: manage multiple audits simultaneously, provide insights to strengthen controls, oversee internal projects, and mentor audit staff. Collaborate with senior management across functions to address risk issues and contribute to departmental quality initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Business; 7+ years relevant experience; CPA, CIA, or CFE certifications preferred; prior internal audit or public accounting experience; managerial background desirable.
