Job Title: Associate Director, Finance – FP&A (PDM)
Location: Foster City, CA

Responsibilities:
- Lead PDM financial consolidation processes, including planning and delivery of accurate, timely management reporting (monthly performance, forecasts, dashboards, headcount, and other reporting).
- Develop and manage the planning calendar; coordinate with multiple Finance functions and PDM business partners.
- Perform comprehensive financial analyses and provide strategic input to upper management; present conclusions and recommendations.
- Develop standardized reporting and analysis across PDM finance.
- Monitor process effectiveness/efficiency vs. goals; implement complex process improvements.
- Shift between tactical and strategic perspectives based on audience/project needs.
- Analyze gross margin with finance/business partners and communicate insights.
- Develop and present management reporting to drive discussions on trends, forecast accuracy, and upcoming activities.
- Support ad hoc requests and ongoing analytics for tactical/strategic decision-making.
- Drive and implement process improvement initiatives for planning, analysis, and reporting.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s + 10 years OR Master’s + 8 years OR PhD + 2 years.

Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP; advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot.
- Biotech/pharma or manufacturing support experience (preferred); multinational experience (plus).
- Strong communication and problem-solving; project reporting/operational accounting and reporting (required).
- Proven success in deadline-driven, multi-task environments.

Benefits/Compensation (as stated): $182,070.00–$235,620.00 salary range; may include discretionary bonus, stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
