Role: Field Reimbursement Associate Director – Northwest at Takeda Oncology, responsible for optimizing patient access to oncology therapies through strategic reimbursement expertise. Key responsibilities include educating healthcare providers on payer coverage, prior authorization, appeals, and reimbursement pathways; collaborating with cross-functional teams such as HUB services, sales, and market access; addressing access issues; and monitoring payer landscape changes. Requirements: Bachelor's degree; 8+ years in biotech/pharma, with 4+ years in patient access or reimbursement within oncology; 2+ years of buy-and-bill experience; strong knowledge of Medicare, commercial payers, Medicaid, and oncology reimbursement dynamics; excellent communication skills; ability to travel 50-75%. Preferred: Oncology launch experience with oral and injectable products, proven stakeholder engagement skills, and residence in ID, MT, OR, or WA. High-value: Oncology (including oral and injectable therapies), payer landscape, buy-and-bill model, specialty pharmacy, and HUB services. Work setup: Remote with significant travel.
