The FRM Associate Director leads and develops a regional team of Field Reimbursement Managers who educate healthcare providers on AbbVie’s Immunology Patient Support Programs, emphasizing patient access and reimbursement inquiries related to AbbVie’s immunology portfolio—ensuring effective, compliant operations for timely patient access.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, coach, and support the FRM team to deliver compliant, effective access and reimbursement services.
- Conduct field ride-alongs; use AbbVie-approved tools; provide targeted coaching.
- Collaborate with Patient Services, Managed Health Care, Sales, and Access & Reimbursement Hub to maintain consistent, compliant execution.
- Integrate patient access programs into local/regional strategies; identify and address training needs.
- Monitor healthcare policy changes and communicate insights.
- Track call activity and operational capacity using analytics tools.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with AbbVie standards.
- Drive professional development for direct reports with career progression and performance oversight.

Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in coverage, coding, managed healthcare, and/or market access for immunology products (including payer account management).
- 2+ years in a leadership role (3+ preferred) with proven team/talent development.
- Strong coaching and territory/strategic account management skills.
- Skilled in coaching/training and communicating complex reimbursement policies.
- Deep knowledge of Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D; specialty drug acquisition and distribution.
- Ability to navigate regulatory requirements and mitigate compliance risks.
- Excellent oral/written/presentation and interpersonal communication.
- Bachelor’s required; Master’s preferred.
- Travel up to 75%.
- Valid driver’s license; pass pre-employment drug screening; meet safe driving requirements.
- Ability to drive personal auto/company vehicle or powered material handling equipment.
