Associate Director, Field MSL - US Medical Affairs

Role: Associate Director, Medical Science Liaison (MSL), providing strategic leadership and development for the MSL team within US Medical Affairs. Objectives include executing medical strategies, cultivating external scientific relationships, and supporting cross-functional initiatives. Responsibilities encompass coaching and developing the MSL team, integrating therapeutic area strategies, overseeing advocate development, conducting field visits for training and compliance, and collaborating with Medical and Commercial teams. Qualifications: Advanced clinical/scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MD/DO, DNP, or relevant master’s) with 7+ years in pharma, plus 3+ years in field medical or scientific engagement. Skills include deep product knowledge, scientific communication, leadership, coaching, and influence. Preferred: Experience in neurology/neuroscience, pre-launch or lifecycle management, building high-performing teams, and using insights to shape strategy. High-Value: Focus on medical and scientific engagement, external expert cultivation, therapeutic areas like neurology, and cross-functional collaboration. Work Setup: Field-based role with up to 50-60% travel, primarily within the US.
