Responsibilities:
- Engage in scientific exchange with Oncology disease experts and support research initiatives.
- Maintain a list of relevant medical/therapeutic area professionals and investigator targets; develop associated plans.
- Participate in development and management of clinical trials.
- Review concept proposals and develop protocols; identify/assist in selection of investigators and trial sites.
- Support site initiation and enrollment activities.
- Serve as a resource to area healthcare professionals within trial site communities.
- Collaborate with Clinical Development and other trial staff to implement plans and strategies.
- Establish scientific relationships with investigators and Medical Affairs; support investigator-initiated study (IIS) concept program.
- Identify gaps in company research needs and create opportunities with investigators and site personnel.
- Perform disease education for practitioners, payers, and researchers.
- Attend medical conferences to collect/report scientific, clinical, and competitive intelligence.
- Assist with management of clinical data to support abstracts, posters, presentations, and manuscripts.

Qualifications:
- Advanced Clinical/Science degree required (MD, PharmD, PhD).
- Minimum 5 years oncology experience as Field Medical Affairs or Medical Science Liaison.
- Residence within assigned territory (Northern California and Nevada).

Skills/Traits:
- Independent field work; ability to balance/prioritize multiple initiatives.
- Strong interest in developing/sharing clinical scientific data.
- Ability to build relationships in academic and clinical settings.
