Role Summary
Associate Director, Field Access Ops and Patient Services Analytics — support the Field Access Management and Patient Services teams through effective operations and reporting, with hands-on oversight of processes, data escalations, and analytics to identify performance trends and opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with FAM and Patient Services leadership to identify, interpret, and act on performance trends
- Monitor copay, coupon, and other patient support program effectiveness and provide strategic insight to enhance patient outcomes
- Partner cross-functionally with Commercial Operations, Market Access, IT, and vendor partners to advance reporting automation, system integration, and analytics capabilities
- Serve as a trusted thought partner—translating complex data into meaningful business insights and influencing program strategy and design
- Manage the FAM team roster and target list
- Collaborate with the Training team to ensure consistent onboarding, skill development, and reinforcement of analytical best practices
- Support adoption of new workflows and develop best practices across the FAM organization
- Lead process improvement and self-service reporting initiatives
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of data views to ensure scalable, accurate, and efficient analytics infrastructure
- Build and maintain reports that monitor prescription and reimbursement workflows, identifying performance trends and emerging issues that impact patient access and turnaround times
- Deliver scheduled and ad hoc analytics in support of both Patient Services and FAM teams, ensuring insights are timely, actionable, and aligned with business objectives
- Support Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews (MBRs/QBRs) by developing dashboards, metrics, and analyses that inform strategic and operational discussions
- Act as the primary point of contact for field access reporting needs, addressing escalations, conducting ad hoc analyses, and identifying scalable solutions to recurring challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, advanced degree preferred, with 8 - 10 years of experience in patient services analytics, field access insights, or commercial analytics within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, or equivalent experience
- Proven ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex datasets to identify patterns and inform business decisions
- Strong working knowledge of hub data including benefit verification, prior authorization, appeals, and reimbursement workflows
- Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), Snowflake and SQL
- Understanding of Veeva CRM, roster management, and IQVIA LAAD data
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills; ability to influence cross-functionally and convey complex insights clearly
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, translate strategy into action, and deliver results under pressure
- High attention to detail, initiative, and a collaborative mindset suited to the “roll-up-your-sleeves” environment
- Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically
