Associate Director, Field Access Management

Key Responsibilities
- Train, educate, coach, and lead a team of Field Access Managers (FAMs).
- Execute the field access strategy and oversee Field Access Management team success.
- Understand regional Payor and Medicaid coverage; provide market access education to the team.
- Maintain SOPs for Hub, specialty pharmacy, and appropriate interactions with field sales to support appropriate access to therapy.
- Provide proactive field-based access education to internal/external stakeholders by identifying and educating around access issues and sharing successes.
- Educate and communicate patient enrollment, payer coverage policies, prior authorization, appeals, patient support programs, and Hub operations.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings with sales, market access, and marketing to align on access landscape, issues, and strategy.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree; 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech.
- 3+ years in patient support, healthcare sales/operations, project management, or reimbursement support.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare Part B, Medicaid, and commercial access processes (benefit verification, prior authorization, appeals).
- Expertise in pharmaceutical compliance and HIPAA.
- Excellent interpersonal/communication; ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
- Competent understanding of hub and patient support activities.
- Manage multiple priorities in a hybrid environment with 30–35% travel; reside in assigned territory/metro area.
