Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary supplier relationship contact; provide organization supervision, strategic initiatives, and technical support to manage supply of designated products.
- Ensure products are manufactured, released, and delivered in compliance with local/international regulations, forecasts, schedules, and planned cost.
- Negotiate/maintain Manufacturing Service Agreement and amendments.
- Ensure planning and material procurement strategies support required supplies.
- Align product forecasts with manufacturing and delivery schedules; coordinate with Supply Chain/Planning to meet demand.
- Participate in Financial Operating Plan, updates, LRP, and standard processes to meet financial goals.
- Coordinate Steering Committee; monitor Virtual Operation Teams and escalate as needed.
- Review status reports and provide updates to senior leadership.
- With technical/quality teams, review process performance and quality trends; agree on improvement plans.
- Establish governance and quality systems/documentation; ensure regulatory compliance and follow-up on inspection responses.
- Coordinate QA activities (annual quality management review, periodic audits); investigate deviations and support timely product disposition; define/track performance metrics.
- Develop and manage supplier-facing programs/projects (scope, cost, time/resource, communication, risk).
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs in science/technical field; MSc or MBA preferred.
- 10+ years in manufacturing, engineering, project management, quality, and S&T; external manufacturing experience and aseptic external manufacturing required.
- Broad manufacturing/process business perspective; strong project experience and ability to influence.
- Preferred: experience managing subcontracted relationships.
- Proven leadership; strong communication (listening, verbal, presentation, written).
- Strong strategy/planning; knowledge of pharmaceutical development/manufacturing/supply.
- Issue identification, problem analysis, and solution development.
- Global teamwork; knowledge of business financial systems/tools.
