Associate Director, Enterprise Context & Data Foundations
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the strategy for Enterprise Context and Data Foundations.
- Establish a scalable framework for business context, semantic models, definitions, metrics, taxonomies, and knowledge assets.
- Drive evolution from foundational data assets to AI-ready contextualized data products.
- Enable enterprise adoption of AI, Copilot, and agentic solutions through trusted business context.
- Lead creation/governance of semantic models, business metrics/dimensions, and reusable business concepts.
- Establish enterprise standards for business metadata, ontologies, knowledge graphs, and context assets.
- Partner with data product owners to ensure foundational data products are discoverable, trusted, and consumable; drive adoption and measure utilization/value/AI readiness.
- Lead cross-functional alignment across business, analytics, product, architecture, governance, and engineering.
- Accelerate productivity via skills, agents, and process automation.
Qualifications
Required:
- 8+ years leading data/analytics/BI/product or business transformation initiatives.
- Experience working across business and technology organizations.
- Strong understanding of enterprise data, analytics, and AI ecosystems.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment.
- Translate business objectives into scalable data and AI capabilities.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational leadership.
Preferred:
- Data products/metadata governance/knowledge management experience.
- Familiarity with semantic layers, metrics frameworks, business glossaries, knowledge graphs, ontologies, or AI enablement platforms.
- Experience supporting AI/Copilot/agentic adoption; modern data platforms/lakehouse architectures.
