Responsibilities:
- Ensure area objectives are achieved by reliably supplying quality products at competitive cost in line with GMP and applicable code requirements.
- Manage tactical and strategic area operations; collaborate with indirect staff.
- Drive continuous improvement; establish Right First-Time culture by reducing waste.
- Create and sustain a compliance culture (Safety, Environment, cGMP, etc.).
- Review/approve compliance documents per procedures.
- Lead daily area walkthroughs using independent judgment to ensure quality while managing cost.
- Manage area supply performance metrics (e.g., schedule adherence, on-time release, customer service, product lead time).
- Develop and implement Production System (MPS) and continuous improvement culture; achieve MPS targets.
- Lead strategic initiatives for manufacturing process, equipment, and human resources.
- Report monthly metrics and action plans to IPT leadership.
- Identify/prioritize/champion improvement projects to improve efficiency, cycle time, yield, reduce variability, and eliminate waste.
- Develop/manage area operating budget; meet budget and reduce costs.
- Ensure business acumen for area members; support engaged workforce using leadership behaviors and inclusion.
- Coach direct reports; conduct timely feedback and performance evaluations; provide input for indirect staff.

Qualifications:
- BS in Science, Engineering, or technical field.
- 6+ years’ experience across multiple functional areas (Operations, Quality, Tech Ops, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, etc.).
- 2+ years of line experience with responsibility for direct reports.

Preferred:
- 2+ years in relevant manufacturing/processing (aseptic/sterile, bulk, solid oral dosage, packaging).
- Knowledge of MPS/lean; inclusion-based workforce engagement.
- Experience with sites/divisional/regulatory audits; talent management success.
- cGMP (pharma/vaccine), Lean Six Sigma, RCA, FMEA, reliability engineering/asset lifecycle management; SAP/CMMS; CMRP desired.
