Associate Director/Director, Medical Operations

Role: Associate Director/Director, Medical Operations at Wave Life Sciences, leading strategic planning and execution of medical affairs operational processes to support medical activities such as publications, medical information, advisory boards, and investigator-initiated studies. Responsibilities: design, optimize, and oversee workflows, manage vendors and systems (e.g., Veeva CRM), track KPIs, ensure compliance with GxP and SOPs, and partner cross-functionally with Clinical, Regulatory, Legal, and other teams. Requirements: Bachelor's in life sciences; 8–15+ years in Medical Affairs or Operations, preferably in small to mid-sized biotech; experience in global medical operations, vendor management, and scaling operations in a biotech environment. Preferred: launch experience, medical affairs build-out, and familiarity with systems like Veeva. High-Value: focus on RNA medicines, therapeutic areas including rare and prevalent disorders, with clinical programs spanning preclinical to Phase 3, involving regulatory compliance and GxP.
