Role Summary

BeOne seeks an experienced professional to lead our Data Management and Portfolio Analytics initiatives. The Associate Director, Data Management & Portfolio Analytics is responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that will drive business decisions, enhance patient outcomes, and optimize product development. The role will partner with clinical development stakeholders to drive data-driven operations and decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Data Analytics & Interpretation: Set the analytics strategy and roadmap with business stakeholders across the portfolio; implement digital and automated solutions to improve efficiency; provide senior leadership with forward-looking analyses, predictive models, and risk assessments to inform governance and prioritization; partner to establish and monitor data management operations across clinical programs ensuring high-quality, timely and compliant data insights delivery from various data sources; utilize advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI techniques to identify trends and opportunities; ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security to meet compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Translate business questions into well-structured analyses with actionable recommendations on program health, resource allocation, and cycle time reduction; collaborate with product managers and business functions to define KPIs, OKRs, metrics, and develop dashboards or analytical tools to track operations and performance and suggest data-driven actions.
  • Innovation And Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in data analytics to drive innovation; hands-on experience implementing AI/ML solutions; identify and improve processes and explore opportunities to do things differently and more efficiently.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of data scientists and data analysts or managers; develop talent and foster a culture of continuous improvement; promote data-driven decision-making at the study and program level through hands-on support and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or related field and 8+ years of data analytics/insights experience; proven track record of managing large-scale data projects and leading high-performing teams; familiar with clinical systems (EDC, CTMS, IRT, Argus, and similar); hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks; excellent communication and presentation skills; strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams; strong prioritization and multitasking abilities and ability to work under pressure; strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages; exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills; self-motivated, hands-on, disciplined, proactive with strong teamwork and accountability.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or related field with 6+ years of experience; PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or related field with 4+ years of data analytics/insights experience; familiarity with Agentic AI is a plus.

  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages; experience with AI/ML frameworks; ability to develop and interpret predictive models and data visualizations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills; ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or related field (required).
  • Master’s degree or PhD in a related field (preferred).
