About The Role
The Associate Director of Commercial Data Management, Pipeline will lead strategy, governance, and operations of Neurocrine’s commercial data ecosystem in support of pipeline therapies Osavampator and Direclidine. Ensure delivery of trusted, high-quality data across the commercial organization. Define and execute roadmap of pre- and post-launch activities, establish governance frameworks, and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to meet business needs.
Your Contributions (include, But Are Not Limited To)
- Lead commercial pre-launch pipeline data management activities for Osavampator and Direclidine.
- Define, own, and execute the commercial strategy and multi-year roadmap aligned with enterprise goals.
- Establish and govern data governance, data purchasing decisions, operating procedures, and standards.
- Oversee budget and contracting for data licensing and 3rd-party consulting to develop/enhance core data models.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, accuracy, accessibility, and regulatory compliance.
- Transition from pre-launch implementation to post-launch operational support.
- Partner with Field Operations, Analytics, Marketing, and IT; onboard key data sources aligned to enterprise architecture.
- Drive continuous improvement in data collection, management, and consumption.
- Identify, resolve, and prevent data discrepancies; improve quality monitoring/remediation.
- Manage cross-functional projects related to pipeline brand strategy, technology implementation, and operational enhancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical discipline + 10+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech Commercial Operations, Commercial Data Management, or related areas; OR Master’s preferred + 8+ years.
- Expert commercial data management best practices (5+ years).
- Comfort with tools/platforms/programming languages: Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Databricks, SQL, Python.
- Familiarity with commercial data sources (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony, Definitive Healthcare; specialty pharmacy/distributor data such as 852/867; digital marketing data desirable).
- Familiarity with claims data (e.g., Komodo, MMIT/Norstella, Veeva Compass).
- Independent project leadership in a matrixed environment.
- Strong communication; ability to translate technical concepts/data insights for diverse audiences.
- Patient-level data handling experience; HIPAA and related regulatory familiarity.
- Track record leading large cross-functional technology/data initiatives; strong project management.
- Exceptional analytical/problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
