Role: Associate Director & PAM Team Lead responsible for strategy, engineering execution, and governance of privileged access/security in a global enterprise. Objectives: advance Zero Trust, reduce cyber risk, enhance identity security. Responsibilities: develop and execute PAM roadmap aligned with cybersecurity strategies; lead design and delivery of PAM and secrets management solutions; modernize privileged access with least-privilege and risk-based models; oversee vulnerability remediation and governance practices; manage and mentor a global engineering team; collaborate with IAM product teams and stakeholders to ensure capabilities meet security and business needs. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, or related; 10+ years in cybersecurity/Identity & Access Management, with 7+ years in Privileged Access Management; extensive experience with PAM platforms (e.g., CyberArk, HashiCorp Vault), multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), and security standards (NIST, Zero Trust). Preferred skills include hands-on experience with identity platforms like Active Directory, cloud identity services, automation with PowerShell, and experience in regulated industries such as healthcare or life sciences. High-Value: cybersecurity leadership, enterprise PAM, secrets management, multi-cloud, Zero Trust, industry certifications (e.g., CISSP). Work setup: hybrid in San Francisco, with flexible arrangements; travel as needed.
