Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead technical ownership of the Customer Master (Customer/HCP/HCO) within Vertexโ€™s Enterprise MDM, including end-to-end design, build, and ongoing management of the customer master and its published consumption layer.
- Modernize and migrate the Customer Master platform to the cloud; evolve roadmap, architecture, ontology, and a customer-domain knowledge graph.
- Define/govern customer-domain data models, match/merge configuration, survivorship rules, and other core MDM configuration.
- Deliver trusted, scalable customer data to downstream systems (e.g., Veeva, Oracle ERP, Snowflake, Salesforce); drive enhancements using improved matching logic, AI/LLM-enabled mastering, semantic enrichment, metadata generation, anomaly detection, and data enrichment.
- Run day-to-day technical operations: oversee HCP/HCO data ingestion, mastering, and quality; resolve duplicates; maintain affiliations and healthcare organization hierarchies; ensure reliable propagation to downstream systems.
- Define/track KPIs for data quality and platform performance; drive continuous improvement using agile methods.
- Partner with Data Engineering, Data Governance, Validation teams, and SI/MDM partners; lead change management and cross-functional adoption.

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications
- 8+ years in Master Data Management; 3+ years leading MDM programs/projects.
- Deep MDM + Customer MDM (HCP/HCO) expertise in biopharma/life sciences.
- Hands-on with modern MDM platforms (e.g., Reltio or Informatica IDMC); strong data modeling, match/merge, survivorship, hierarchy management, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Knowledge of healthcare reference data (e.g., OneKey, MedPro, SP/SD) and golden record/affiliations/hierarchies.
- Strong data governance, data quality, metadata management, and stewardship operating model experience.
- Familiarity with AI/ML/LLMs for intelligent matching, semantic enrichment, anomaly detection, and automation.
- Cloud/enterprise architecture knowledge (APIs, security, integrations across Snowflake, Veeva, Salesforce, Oracle ERP).
- Regulated-environment awareness (privacy/security/validation/compliance).
- Bachelorโ€™s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (required).
