Role Summary

Associate Director, Customer Insights, Immunology (Nasal Polyps and Eosinophilic Esophagitis) role within Regeneronβ€šΓ„Γ΄s Commercial Strategy and Insights and Analytics (CSI&A) department. You will oversee all Customer Insights activities for Immunology Nasal Polyps and Eosinophilic Esophagitis, partnering with Immunology CBU stakeholders to inform business decisions and drive market understanding using appropriate market research methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead market research plans and individual projects for Immunology (Nasal Polyps and Eosinophilic Esophagitis), including U.S./global and HCP/patient initiatives
  • Develop innovative Customer Insights plans aligned with strategic imperatives; translate insights gaps into key business questions and determine optimal research approaches
  • Proactively recommend studies to inform brand decision-points and address opportunities and challenges
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with Immunology CBU and CSI&A stakeholders; balance rigor, timelines, and influence
  • Manage market research suppliers to design, scope, execute and analyze research results and develop implications
  • Collaborate with CBU and CSI&A colleagues to influence data capabilities and stay informed on market landscape and competitive outlook
  • Work with Advanced Analytics to measure brand performance via secondary data sources and address leadership questions
  • Demonstrate proficiency in primary research (qualitative and quantitative) and develop innovative research solutions for complex issues
  • Manage all primary research in compliance with internal policies and preferred vendors
  • Recommend evidence-driven, customer and market insights to inform strategic business decisions
  • Establish and track outcomes against critical success factors
  • Synthesize insights from marketing research, competitive intelligence, and secondary data; present findings to business teams and senior management
  • Integrate data into actionable insights that identify business opportunities and strategies with portfolio considerations
  • Create clear presentations communicating complex insights for action
  • Encourage and apply evidence-based business-building ideas informed by customer and market insights

Qualifications

  • Minimum BA/BS with 10 years of pharmaceutical/biotech commercial experience (or MBA/MS with 7+ years); immunology experience preferred
  • Proven success in using market research to inform and influence business decisions
  • Experience in survey design, data analysis (including secondary data), managing suppliers, presenting results, and recommending actions
  • Experience with biologic drugs and in immunology (required)
  • Strong cross-functional communication and consensus-building abilities
  • Technical understanding of marketing research methodologies and experience with multiple research tools
  • Understanding of data sources and nomenclatures in product development
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory environment related to pharmaceutical/biotechnology commercialization
  • Flexibility, leadership, influence and emotional intelligence across stakeholders
  • Experience managing multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Concise, impactful written and verbal communication
  • Experience influencing and driving decision making
  • Expertise in data visualization and storytelling of market research findings
  • Alliance partnerships experience preferred
