Associate Director, CRM Field Operations
General/Position Summary
- Support designated BU HQ and Field teams with continuous improvement of the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Define and prioritize implementation and enhancements across the Veeva CRM platform that support Sales and Marketing.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Drive CRM strategy and innovation with IT (new capabilities, best practices, CRM maturity).
- Own and drive the NA Commercial Sales & Marketing roadmap of annual CRM priorities.
- Build requirements with IT and manage agile workflow in JIRA.
- Approve and prioritize development work based on business priorities and user feedback.
- Identify and communicate platform improvements; translate complex technical solutions to business problems.
- Oversee end-to-end sprint management and support business change during implementation.
- Manage product backlog and prioritize in Jira; provide implementation support including business validation and UAT.
- Partner on training/change materials; ensure account hierarchy/setup in Veeva Align.
- Support Veeva CRM integrations with marketing (e.g., email templates, CLM, iPad training content, website integration).
- Serve as SME for Veeva CRM; train end-users and support adoption.
Required Knowledge/Skills
- Deep experience implementing/running technology adoption across global Commercial systems.
- Agile experience with on/offshore vendors; strong JIRA and Confluence.
- Commercial biopharma business process knowledge.
- Stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, presentation; strategic mindset.
- Independent work in ambiguity; domestic travel as needed.
Required Experience
- 8+ years direct Veeva CRM experience.
- 3+ years technology project management.
Required Education
- 10+ years in life sciences.
Pay Range
- $164,400–$246,600; eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards.
Flex Designation
- Hybrid-Eligible or On-Site Eligible (hybrid: remote up to 2 days/week; on-site: 5 days/week with ad hoc flexibility).
